Annette Humm Keen has worked closely with DI Graphics to identify opportunities for growth. Her research compared sector spending in outdoor advertising, use of vehicles, projected industry growth and proportion of marketing budget spent on outdoor advertising. She also compiled a list of key competitors in the vehicle wrapping industry and identified industry sectors where competitors were most active. Ms. Humm Keen identified eleven potential market verticals, recommending DI Graphics strategies for each. DI Graphics is following her advice as it pursues growth opportunities.

Identifying customer targets for a new marketing graphics firm. Annette Humm Keen helped a client plan strategy and operations for a new marketing graphics firm. She identified 50 potential customers for this firm and researched their experiences with branding and re-branding.

Acquisition targets for an interactive agency. Indigio, a mid-sized interactive agency, sought Mr. Keen’s assistance to develop a research-based growth strategy. Through client interviews and the analysis of secondary data, Mr. Keen’s team characterized the structure, market size and trends for interactive agencies and calculated Indigio’s current market share. He helped to identify an acquisition-oriented growth strategy and identified potential acquisition targets. In the process of pursuing the recommended growth strategy, Indigio was successfully acquired by Bridgeline Digital — one of the larger interactive agencies researched.

Strengthening customer relationships for a consumer intelligence and marketing company. For many years, David Keen had a close relationship with National Demographics and Lifestyles, which was acquired by Polk. One project example is his work with company leadership to develop a client advisory board panel.

Developing marketing strategy for start-up Internet retailer. Annette Humm Keen directed market analysis and competitive research, and recommended marketing strategies to increase search potential for an up-start Internet retailer.
