Jessica Foreman joined Keen Independent as a Research Assistant. Her experience spans human services, nonprofit management and urban studies.
While at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), Ms. Foreman gained extensive experience researching urban issues including those related to equity, infrastructure, resource management and community development. Additionally, Ms. Foreman gained valuable skills including an ability to collect and analyze data, prepare and present reports and create maps and databases using GIS mapping.
Ms. Foreman served as a UNO Graduate Assistant for the Service Learning Academy, where she managed multiple projects and built and maintained relationships with community partners.
Additionally, Ms. Foreman served as Community Outreach Coordinator for Inclusive Communities, an Omaha nonprofit focused on promoting diversity and inclusion. In this role, Ms. Foreman coordinated community outreach, maintained databases and supported data collection and analysis.
Ms. Foreman volunteered as a Senior Analyst for UNO’s Volunteer Program Assessment where she conducted a survey process designed to promote nonprofit organizational efficiency. As a Senior Analyst, Ms. Foreman analyzed and interpreted survey results and delivered reports and recommendations via consultation with the organizations’ volunteer coordinator.
Ms. Foreman holds a Master of Science in Urban Studies with a concentration in Natural Systems from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with highest honors and a Bachelor of General Studies with a concentration in Human Services.
