Nicholas Bitner

Nicholas Bitner – Consultant [Nicholas Bitner]

Nicholas Bitner has an extensive background in qualitative research with expertise in writing and advanced project support. He has conducted editing and proofing of report documents, preparation of report graphics and analysis of anecdotal information from in-depth interviews for a number of research assignments, including Keen Independent’s Minnesota Joint Disparity Study, which involved nine government entities. He performed a similar role as part of disparity studies for state departments of transportation in Oregon, Montana, Missouri and Illinois as well as for the cities of New Orleans, Louisiana; Kansas City, Missouri and Atlanta, Georgia.

In addition, Mr. Bitner coordinated a team of Keen Independent team members and managed in-depth interview write-up assignments for Keen Independent’s availability and disparity studies for the City of Baton Rouge and Parks & Recreation in East Baton Rouge Parish in Louisiana and for the Hawaii Department of Transportation. Recently, he conducted focus group write-ups and report editing as part of Keen Independent’s statewide disparity study in Colorado.

Formerly, Mr. Bitner was a Conservatory Apprentice at Point Park University in Pennsylvania where he was responsible for coordination of confidential interdepartmental information, curricula editing and proofing, and transcribing aural information. He led community mentor efforts to outreach to incoming and outgoing students and facilitated conflict mediation efforts.

As an honor program graduate from Point Park University, Mr. Bitner earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing (summa cum laude). He also taught creative writing to Chinese students.
