Alexa’s previous experience comes from performance and technical theater. Throughout her undergrad, she worked as a Barista at Starbucks as well as the resident Box Office Manager at Mesa Community College’s Performing Arts Center. She went on to develop and teach an afterschool theater club and improv group at urban schools in South Phoenix.
Upon receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Theater from Arizona State University, she took on the role of Event Coordinator, and later Venue Manager of the Performing Arts Center. In her year as Venue Manager, she supervised a team of 30 front of house and technical operations staff members and managed over 150 performances including; musicals, dance performances, band, choir, orchestra concerts, and rentals.
After leaving the performing arts, Alexa is now the Executive Administrator at Keen Independent Research working alongside the principals and consultants with scheduling, inputting data and project work.
She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Science in Sports Administration with a focus in Facility and Event Management from Western Kentucky University.
