Keen Independent provides direct, individualized supportive services to DBE owners who must prepare a Personal Narrative for recertification. The process is sensitive and often difficult to complete without structured support. Our service is designed to help you explain your experiences clearly and in alignment with current expectations, without requiring you to navigate this work alone.
One-on-one listening session: You meet virtually with a Keen Independent team member for a listening session about your background and experiences relevant to social and economic disadvantage.
Draft Personal Narrative: We prepare a written draft based on what you share, organized in a clear, professional format.
Follow-up review session: We meet virtually to review the draft and identify any additional details you want to include. You control the final version and can revise it before submitting it to your certifying agency.
