Latino Cultural Museum de Fort Worth (LCM) has hired Keen Independent Research to assess the viability and best path for opening a museum and cultural landmark that honors and celebrates Fort Worth’s vibrant Latino communities and their rich heritage.

The study team will research and analyze:

‍

• Demographic and market demand indicator data;
• Relevant regional cultural assets and comparable national museums;
• Benchmark museum capital projects and operating models; and
• Feedback from stakeholders about the potential for and impact of a Latino-focused museum in Fort Worth.

‍

Keen Independent will synthesize all study research to define a potential museum concept along with cost, size and operating budget estimates and location recommendations.

Keen Independent Research is a national arts, culture and economic consulting firm that has performed similar work for cities and other public entities nationwide. Alex Keen, Managing Principal, and Heather Calvin, Associate Principal, are directing this assignment. The firm’s diverse ownership group includes Latino representation.

The study began in April 2025 and will be completed in December 2025.
