The Village of Orland Park is undertaking one coordinated Arts and Entertainment Planning Study that brings together two complementary efforts: a feasibility study for a potential performing arts center and a strategic operating plan for Centennial Park West. These efforts will examine community needs, market demand, facilities, programming, operations, finances and implementation priorities to help the Village make informed, strategic decisions about the future of arts and entertainment.

Study Goals

The Orland Park Arts and Entertainment Planning Study will:

  • Assess community needs, market demand and existing arts and entertainment assets;
  • Evaluate options for a new performing arts facility and the future of Centennial Park West;
  • Identify sustainable programming, operating and revenue strategies;
  • Gather input from residents, stakeholders and community partners; and
  • Provide clear, practical recommendations to guide future investment and decision-making.

Schedule

The study launched in August 2026 and final plans are anticipated by February 2027.
