The City of Santa Clarita has engaged Keen Independent to update its strategy for supporting local arts and culture through this 10-year Arts Plan.

This study will result in recommendations to sustain, grow and improve the City’s assets and offerings to ensure a vibrant and inclusive arts and cultural landscape for residents, local artists, visitors and tourists.

Keen Independent is a national research firm with expertise in arts, culture and economics. Alex Keen, Managing Principal and Co-owner, and Dr. Roksana Filipowska, Consultant, are leading this study.
The study launched in February 2025 and will be completed in February 2026.
Public feedback will inform this project throughout its duration and will include interviews and focus groups and a virtual workshop survey, which will be live in May and June 2025. Input may be submitted anytime by:
